Team Alignment
With business constantly changing, it is only natural for team members to get off track. When this happens, getting everyone refocused can be a daunting task.
Facilitation First offers the strategies and skills to remove the roadblocks, build momentum and get everybody on the same page. We have two processes that help to build alignment: Team Chartering and Team Interventions.
Team Chartering
Teams aren’t automatically formed because someone commands them into existence. Lots of teams have been told “Congratulations… you’re a team now!” without ever really becoming one. It’s no wonder that most teams who have never gone through a thorough team formation process laugh at the thought of calling themselves a ‘team.’ That’s because building a team takes time and patience, plus following a prescribed set of steps led by one of our professional facilitators.
Our Team Chartering facilitation process includes a 9-point plan that ensures each team understands its purpose and objective, identifies all the strengths of its team members and develops an action plan to meet its purpose. Click here to view how our Team Formation process unfolds.
Team Interventions
Though we don’t like to acknowledge this, some teams get misaligned due to changes in their mandate, loss or gain of team members and/or change in leadership. As a result the team can flounder, uncertain as to how they can get back on track.
Facilitation First offers customized interventions that are geared to re-aligning teams for purposes of performance gains, re-chartering, new membership or new leader integration, problem-solving and/or critical decision-making.
We work with the team leader and members to ensure a thorough understanding of what needs to be achieved to create enhanced alignment.
